Went to Edinburgh Lindy Exchange, was sweet. Nice weather and we danced outside in the sunshine. Like Exchanges, want to do more.

This was my birthday jam circle from February. I had been dancing about 5 months then. My right arm still hangs straight down sometimes, but it is better. My friend Anna took the video but now she has gone back to Germany.

I am also in this video. I am the lead with the glasses and plaid shirt, in the foreground. Josephine is a really good singer, she doesn’t usually sing with the band. This is from September this year, I had been dancing 11 months of so.

So I am in a little clip of this video doing the lindy hops with a nice waistcoat and a nice moustache, at 0.48 and then again at 1.17 very quickly. I think this was back in April.

So I haven’t posted here in ages because I am busy all the time and that is pretty cool.

I play open mic nights alot and I think I am slowly getting better.

I go out dancing 2-3 nights a week too, I am getting a reputation as a bit of a Lindy addict but I don’t mind, I go out of the local scene as much as possible. It is fun and I am meeting lots of friends. Dancing through the summer sucks, I need to take so many clean shirts with me.

I awkwardly asked out my lindy crush and now things are a bit weird between us and that sucks, but oh well. Hopefully they will get better again. I don’t usually ask out girls so I am happy I did it.

I am growing my beard out and this weekend lots of people were saying it was looking ‘epic’ and such, which is nice I suppose.

That is all, really.

Here is a pic of me looking like an idiot at the end of my 10K run. Pretty happy with the time but would love to get close to 40:00!

Was out dancing the night before and slept on a friends floor and skipped breakfast the day of the run, not the best preparation maybe?

So I am running in the Manchester 10K on Sunday for a friends charity called Foodcycle, they take short dated food from local businesses and turn it into meals for people who need them.
